What is Eco-casa?

Eco-casa is a new vision to design and build resource-efficient and affordable homes. 

Time matters, so we have designed eco-casa to be designed and build in a relatively short time compared to conventional building methods.

Eco-casa is designed with the the idea of reducing the carbon footprint of both the constriction, and operation of homes.

Eco-casa promotes sustainable living habits and improves the quality of life of its residents.

Where can Eco-casa be built?

We are currently only building in the Mediterranean coastal region near Barcelona, where we have optimized our eco-friendly design according to the local resources and conditions.

An eco-friendly approach to building houses

Buildings construction accounts for 36% of global final energy use and 39% of energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Progress towards sustainable buildings and construction is advancing, but improvements are still not keeping up with a growing buildings sector and rising demand for energy services (IEA. 2019). The energy intensity per square meter (m2) of the global buildings sector needs to improve on average by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2015) to be on track to meet global climate ambitions set forth in the Paris Agreement. 

The high negative environmental impact of current methods of construction and unsustainable consumption of energy and water at home suggests making more environmentally friendly homes.

Eco-casa is designed in response to this challenge. Eco-casa is an eco-friendly and positive-energy home that is designed based on scientific research and state-of-the-art technology.  Eco-casa meets the demand for affordable, eco-friendly, and positive energy homes.
